Trump called the Iowa voters stupid for voting for Ben Carson. That’s the joke of the week. The question should be why they kept Trump as number one for so long? The biggest blowhard ever to run for president! In truth, Iowa is not alone. The US electorate is the dumbest and least informed of the developed western world. Having lived in Europe for years, I can tell you that the Europeans would not have an election like ours. Not only don’t the typical voters in the US know who they are voting for, they don’t read anything, they don’t know anything. I’m sure they think Al Quaeda is a latino disk jockey Geography? They have no idea where the middle east is. They probably don’t even know which way is east. The polls and interviews with the “man on the street” only show how ill-informed they are. Note: the Kentuckians just voted for a republican governor who ran on a platform to cancel the affordable care act. Now their health insurance will probably be cancelled and they will wonder why. They pay no attention. They have no clue. They have no jobs but they vote to bring down the deficit, as if they have any idea what the deficit is. Any working person who votes for a republican – even a sane one – is voting against his/her own self interest and must be in a total fog.
